A mother who says that she and her daughter suffered injuries in Port Arthur car accident has filed suit against the driver who hit their car.

The lawsuit, filed April 5 by Diana Esquivel, claims that Esquivel and her minor daughter Melony suffered injuries when defendant, Neli Rayo’s , vehicle collided with their vehicle last September.

The complaint claims that Esquivel and her daughter sustained injuries in the accident have caused them to incur medical costs and experience physical pain. The complaint also claims that the plaintiffs have suffered mental anguish as a result of the accident.
